Disable comments site-wide or on specific posts.
Site-wide
- Go to Settings > Discussion
- Uncheck "Allow people to submit comments on new posts"
- Save changes
Per Post/Page
- Edit the post/page
- Open the Discussion panel (Document sidebar)
- Uncheck "Allow comments"
- Update the post
