Permalinks

By default, WordPress generates URLs with query parameters like yoursite.com/?p=20. Changing to a post name permalink structure produces cleaner, more readable URLs such as yoursite.com/postname.

Setting Up Permalinks

1. Navigate to Settings > Permalinks
2. Select "Post name" option
3. Save changes

Front Page Setup

If you've imported demo content, the imported pages may not automatically display as the site's front page. To resolve this:

1. Navigate to Settings > Reading
2. Select "A static page" option
3. Choose "Home" as your front page
4. Save changes
